Based in Glendale, our crew of expert techs, fabricators, and designers use the most thorough procedures in the industry to turn everyday PEVs into road-ripping legends.
What We Do
If you’ve seen our one-of-a-kind custom builds at Electrify Expo, you know we don’t do basic. But we’re just as passionate about keeping your ride dialed in. From flat tire repairs and battery upgrades to full service, error code diagnosis, controller programming, and more. Whether you need a power boost, a rebuild, or a complete EV conversion, we do anything and everything PEV.
About Brent
Some dreams die in college. Mine was born there.
I started modding PEVs for college students as a hobby. But just like the E-revolution itself, the demand and expansion of my clientele took off at break neck speeds, and Broken Chains–the first full-service PEV shop in Scottsdale–was born.
But my journey wasn’t a straight line. I walked away from a very successful career to become a better father, a stronger business owner, and to build something that truly aligned with my purpose, passion, and faith.
I made an intentional decisions to ‘break chains’ from chasing money over meaning and pennies over purpose. I wanted to become a better leader within my family and my community. So I chose a new, much more aligned path for myself.
In a way, you can say that I chose to build myself a new dream, by making others’ dreams come true by building and modding PEVs.
Customization runs in my blood. My family has always built, fixed, and innovated—and that tradition lives on in every ride we touch.

The Phoenix metro needed a PEV shop that didn’t cut corners. Now it has one. I pride myself on the simple fact that we offer the highest quality of workmanship available. Period.
And yeah, if you’re rolling in with a gas-powered toy, we can handle that too. Because, while we love PEVs, we still have a soft spot in our hearts for combustable engines.
